Zalia is 6 weeks

Zalia turned 6 weeks on Wednesday.
She had her vaccinations yesterday and did not really cry, just a small cry for each jab in each leg and drank all the oral vaccine as if she was gulping down a softdrink after a very thirsty day.
She is a gorgeous little one, she slept from 10.30 to 12.30 last night then fed then went back to sleep, then woke up at 4.55 for a feed and went back to sleep at 5.30. She then got up at 8am. So it was her longest sleep yet. Other nights she was sleeping and waking every hour and a half (a growth spurt at 4 1/2 weeks) and that was exhausting. Mostly she has been sleeping 2 1/2- 3 hour stints. I have had mastitis twice and very grazed nipples, ouch. Very painful.
Yesterday Zalia smiled ( i think) and she has started to say little things. She is gorgeous and so sweet. Never cried only when hungry. Joaquin loves his little sister and is always giving her a kiss on her head.
He has gone to day care today, the cleaners are here, my mum is knitting a little cardigan for Zalia using the suprise jacket pattern by Elizabeth Zimmerman. Lovely, All is ok.
