Zalia's 3rd Birthday party in Patagonia
Zalia had her third birthday party in Esquel.
We hired a hall "La Jungla" it cost $700 pesos and included:
invitations, the venue, balloons, a kitchen, music, entertainment, piñata and lollies, a jumping castle, all cutlery, plates, and no cleaning.
It was great.
I really appreciated having the party here, there was little work on my behalf.
I did make the cupcakes the night before using the recipe in Donna Hay's Kids Issue. The cupcakes were vanilla and delicious. I covered them in vanilla marzipan in a shape of a heart and added either a star or heart sugar decoration (they cost 75 centavos each).
My parents made the sandwiches de miga. The bought fresh bread $15 for 12, and then ham and cheese!
We made some aussie sausage rolls, bought chips, had plates of fruit (apple and bananas) and soft drink.
I also got her cake made. It was a sweet little cake 2 kilos worth and it cost $160. It had hello Kitty on the front and Zalia's name in cursive.
I made some sweet Hello Kitty lolly bags with lollies, bangles and stickers for the girls and a pirate eyepatch and stickers for the boys!
Here is Zalia the first one to arrive and already getting into the chips!
The piñata! Zalia was obsessed watching it all the time. The box was filled with hundreds of lollies.
Zalia was the last to leave, balloon in hand and handbag over her arm. She is now 3!
